War

He said to us smiling.
That he will come back for Christmas.
As he kissed mom and his little sister goodbye.
Then he came to me, and said that he loves me,
I will come back from this bloody war,
And we are going to get married.
Only tears came from my eyes.

The litter came from the army camp.
But it wasn't his handwriting.
Then my heart started ripping,
No. It can't be.
He said that he will came back from this bloody war,
And we are going to married.
What have they done to him?
His mom will die from this,
Her husband died on this war.
And her only son has gone,
His youngest sister will never see or know him.
I've lost my first love,
Not only love, but everything.

On Christmas day the solders came,
And brought the casket with the body.
Our tears came down from our eyes.
There he was, laying with the pale face,
And with the bullet on his forehead.
My heart has sank down to my feet.
I can't live with out him.
There's nothing to say,
There's no space for me in this world.
I've lost my love forever.
