Tangled Web

She’s caught up in a web of lies

Much of what she says isn’t true

Her beauty though does tantalize

It is though from her point of view

A tangled web that we conceive

When we make plans that will deceive

It’s then you get what you receive

Taking more than luck to believe

So unaware she’ll meet her Fate

Alone in the dark is her date

No one will listen or will hear

It is exactly what she fears

A tangled web that we conceive

When we make plans that will deceive

It’s then you get what you receive

Taking more than luck to believe

She’s left a string of broken hearts

Convinced that if she only smiles

They can’t be mended torn apart

The men will fall prey to her wiles

A tangled web that we conceive

When we make plans that will deceive

It’s then you get what you receive

Taking more than luck to believe

Not realizing insincere

Her body language very clear

Fool thinking she can ever please

She’s nothing more than a big tease

A tangled web that we conceive

When we make plans that will deceive

It’s then you get what you receive

Taking more than luck to believe

This says very clearly how the same person can be exploiter and victim through the same patterns.
