I am a very happily retired teacher who has always loved reading and music and the arts and who after retiring and finding herself with the time that she simply didn't have before, discovered that she loves writing and photography as well.
I've been married for almost 37 years and have three wonderful children and two young grandsons.
I play the violin and belong to our church orchestra which is the size of a small community orchestra. After not playing for about 20 years I got involved with this orchestra about 25 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't pick up my fiddle and fiddle around with it.
And I love dabbling in other instruments as well -- mandolin, ukulele, guitar, penny whistle, and such. I'd certainly love to master all of them but I'm really just a dabbler.
