Never Again

By Gabe the Poet
Never again;
Will I bother,
With your games.

Childish games;
Vixen task master,
No rules.

Never again will I play;
Never again will I care,
NEVER AGAIN!

Forever Dreaming

By Gabe the Poet

Forever Dreaming

Lilac and Honeysuckle;
Wafting ever so gently,
From her fevered body.
Whispered words;
Breathlessly uttered,
Are not heard.
Lost in time;
Forever dreaming,
Of my time.
Seeing her again;
Forces me,
To see me.
Looking now;
Into the glass,
I see myself.
Proud and Lost;
Seeking Humility,
No matter the cost.

Too Long Alone

By Gabe the Poet
My Sassy Red Rose;
A thousand miles away,
Too far!

Sultry seductress;
Ever passionate,
Wanting me!

A mere taste;
I had,
Time marches forward.

More I demand!
Rrrroooaaar!
The Lion seeks his mate!

Few Enough

By Gabe the Poet

Few enough;

Are the times,

I have been rendered speechless.

Never have I been silenced;

By a woman so powerful,

I surrender to you.

With my surrender;

She doth make proclamations,

Forcing me to take a knee.

From this vantage;

I can see,

The instrument of my destruction.

With a lurid grin;

I do realize,

The power is mine!

Echo Of Battle

By Gabe the Poet

Echo of Battle

It was a clear night.
The moonlight glimmered on a thousand waves.
We were getting close.
Two minutes until we're on station.
We are all on the flight deck.
This is what we get paid to do.
Forty-five seconds.
We are ready.
The sky is full of light now.
Tomahawk cruise missiles begin their flight.
We launch the first salvo.
Then the second and third.
Fighters streak overhead followed by bombers.
The harriers hover six hundred yards to port.
Death will be busy tonight.
I see the first flashes on the horizon.
When the sun rose, we were still there.
We will always be there.

Delightfully Rumpled

By Gabe the Poet

Delightfully Rumpled

There is nothing more beautiful;

Than seeing you,

When I wake up.

Tussled hair;

Morning breath,

And sleep in your eyes.

Absolutely captivating;

It brings my heart into my throat,

Seeing you so unassuming.

I could carry on about your golden hair;

Or honeyed lips,

Your womanly figure.

Instead I say to you;

I adore you most now,

Delightfully Rumpled.

Come back to bed;

Lie beside me,

While I hold you tight.

Let’s keep the world out;

If only for another minute,

Solitary lovers we are.

Like a raft adrift;

We will let the current carry us,

To heaven’s gates.

There we will attest;

God has gifted us,

These precious moments,

To love.

Daydreaming While Talking

By Gabe the Poet

Daydreaming While Talking

Glistening sands;

Brilliant sunlight streaming,

Daydreaming while talking.

Naked flesh tempting;

Sinful bliss,

Intimate knowledge.

Carmen

By Gabe the Poet

Carmen

The sun set hours ago.

Walking down the beach;

Lost in thought,

Seeing nothing but my feet.

Feeling lost;

Alone,

Sad.

Too many days;

Too much drama,

Seeking release.

The tide will come in soon;

Washing away my trail,

As life has.

I raise my eyes;

Heavenward,

Silently  entreating.

Lowering my gaze;

I am startled,

By an apparition.

An angel most beautiful;

Playing in the surf,

Delightful laughter caressing my ears.

I must be crazy;

Hallucinating,

I need a doctor!

How could I have missed;

This nymph,

Earthbound angel?

Quicksilver eyes;

Piercing me,

Seeing far too deep.

Blessing or curse;

I care not,

She must be mine!

A nubile beauty;

Sensuous movements,

Delightfully precocious!

Oh my;

what did I do,

to earn this vision?

Draped in white;

Sodden,

Defining her form!

I’m taking this gift!

With my lopsided grin;

And a fool’s arrogance,

I approach.

Is she a dream?

An apparition?

A dream?

Dreams don’t bite their lip;

Nor shuffle their feet,

Nor avoid my gaze.

She’s real!

This most tempting of women;

Is here before me,

And shy!

I quite simply must;

Have her,

Now and forever!

God has gifted me;

This exquisite art,

I would be stupid not to cherish it.

I capture her eyes;

With my piercing gaze,

Knowing her.

Brown then green;

Golden highlights,

Softer than any fabric!

Yielding herself;

As I approach,

Mine!

This exquisite creature is smiling at me!

The waves wash over our feet.

I ask her name;

She smiles,

Carmen!

Can I see you again?

Maybe.

Call My Name

By Gabe the Poet

Call My Name

Baby call my name again;

Sweeter music,

Never graced these ears.

To hear the tremble;

Passion’s mark,

Upon your voice.

To hear that sweetest sound;

And know I am the artist who created it,

Is to be a GOD!

There can be no greater joy;

Than having you,

In my arms.

To feel the tickle of your soft honeyed tresses;

To breathe the savory aroma of your essence,

To taste your passion upon my lips,

To feel your heat radiating between us,

Such joy you bring me!

Oh how I do so adore you!

Never have I felt such elation.

With the coming of the dawn;

Our time draws short,

Yet I simply must have you again!

Dearest Heather;

Vision most stunning,

Call my name.

Breathless

By Gabe the Poet

Breathless;

I raise my head,

And see the world still exists.

I cast my gaze;

Upon the clock,

And see it has not been an eternity.

Thirty-seven minutes;

Stretched beyond eternity,

With you.

How do I return?

Silly question really.

I lower my eyes;

You are still here,

With me.

Covered in sweat;

Turgid breathing,

And aglow with passion.

How incredibly sexy you are!

I do so love being with you;

Every moment an eon,

Every kiss echoing over the centuries.

To feel you again;

Is my only need.

I hope this dream never ends.

Is it a dream?

No, a memory.

Vividly I still recall;

Your heat,

Your golden hair streaming,

Your jade eyes mocking,

Your sated smile while you look at me.
