I see the flash

knew you'd be back here someday.

Could you 

even for an instant 

hear the crush in my chest as you walked away?

You said those words

I still die for them.

Even with all that's at stake

I'd still cry again.

Don't let it rain now.

Just prolong it's coming somehow.

We can pretend you didn't go.

I need you now because you were so

 the pain again.

Somehow I hoped you'd still picture me standing there in the rain.

I thought maybe

 I was glad I was soaked because my eyes showed my pain.

You walked so easily away leaving me behind.

I don't want to feel the wet again 

I cry every time.

Something I'm afraid to show.

I die for you to be my ever ending because you are so

the rain again.
