This form is a combination of Rubaiyat and a repeated refrain. The
pattern is aaa,bbb ccc, bbb ddd, bbb
The syllable count is 8 to 10 per line for even flow. Some have
expressed a desire on learning new forms and so each month I will
introduce one.Look at the pics and if you want to write in
another form or free flow please feel free to do so.

Winter's Walk
A Queen in all the Winter
snow
Moves gracefully goes with
the flow
Her Owl is present this
she knows
Each day she takes a
little walk
He flutters by she hears
his squawk
She wonders what next he
will stalk
She's outside now to clear
her head
Now knowing she's nothing
to dread
Companion for a walk
instead
Each day she takes a
little walk
He flutters by she hears
his squawk
She wonders what next he
will stalk
No longer does she feel
enmeshed
Her walk has left her so
refreshed
Her thoughts and actions
have now meshed
Each day she takes a
little walk
He flutters by she hears
his squawk
She wonders what next he
will stalk

Miss January Ice Queen
She is Miss January Ice queen
Taking away all of the green
As temperatures drop at thirteen
She is beautiful but I want spring
When the flowers bloom and birds sing
With the warm sunshine in full swing
Her icy heart sparks with a glow
And her beauty does very much show
In these cold temperatures way below
She is beautiful but I want spring
When the flowers bloom and birds sing
With warm sunshine in full swing
Winter is beautiful but so cold
And cold weather gets very old
I'm ready for warmth to unfold
She is beautiful but I want spring
When the flowers bloom and birds sing
With warm sunshine in full swing
